Residential Care

01 Does the fee cover everything?

The fee covers the full care and support package that we offer based on a 1-2 staffing ratio. The only additional cost will be for an increased staffing ratio e.g. 1-1 support. 

Our staffing ratio is one member of staff to every two young people (1-2), however we have flexibility to increase this to meet any additional support needs. 

Yes, approved visitors are more than welcome to visit and we will do our best to accommodate everyone. Visits must be arranged in advance with the key team and marked in the house diary. We may need to place a limit on the duration of the visit if we have several visits arranged on the same day. 

Yes, we will allow some pets to visit the house however this will be subject to risk assessment and will need to be agreed in advance of the visit. We have good outside space to accommodate dogs, however this is a shared space for all children and young people. Please speak to a member of the team for more information. 

Yes, we are on the Scotland Excel Framework. 


We do not have an education provision on site however, we will support children and young people with different learning opportunities and to access school, college, or work placements. 


We do not have a Psychology provision on site, however we will support children and young people to access Psychology and other services when they need it.

We can care for children and young people from the age of 5 years up until 18 years old.

Yes, our house offers the perfect environment for sibling groups and we have experience of working with siblings. Please contact us to discuss.

Yes, our houses are suitable for all genders. 

The house can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 young people. 

Yes, there will be times when we need to physically intervene to keep everyone safe, however this will always be the last resort and for the shortest period of time necessary. All adults are fully trained in Safe Crisis Management (SCM) which is a Trauma Informed accredited model of intervention and used across the sector. Please speak to a member of the team for more information.
