OUR STORY

Nurturing Wellbeing

Established in 2025, QF Care provides high-quality, trauma-informed residential care for children who cannot live within their family setting.

Our philosophy is relational and child-centred,

Shaped by over 20 years of senior leadership experience across residential childcare, secure care, fostering, adoption, community alternatives and early years services.

Our Approach To Care

We recognise that many children entering residential care have experienced trauma, loss and disrupted attachments. Our services are intentionally designed to respond to this.

Safety, Stability and Positive Progression

Children are supported to achieve their individual goals through access to education, psychological support and development opportunities - and, where appropriate, carefully planned transitions to future services.

Supportive
Environments

We create environments that promote safety and emotional security. Enabling children to rebuild confidence and emotional wellbeing

24/7 Relational

Staff Care

Our trained and experienced staff are present 24/7, with management oversight and on-call support to ensure consistent care and decision-making.

Safety and emotional security

Safety and emotional security mean feeling protected, respected, understood. They create the foundation for trust, confidence, well-being.

Consistent, trusting relationships

Consistent, trusting relationships provide stability and a sense of security. They allow people to feel safe, valued, and confident in their connections.

Connection, healing and resilience

Connection fosters healing, and healing builds resilience. Together, they help people grow stronger through life’s challenges.

Our homes are homely, nurturing and well-maintained

Designed to reflect ordinary domestic living. They are intentionally indistinguishable from neighbouring properties and are located within communities with strong access to local amenities and transport.

Children are supported too:

  • Feel safe, respected and listened to
  • Personalise their bedrooms and shared spaces
  • Develop practical life skills such as cooking,
cleaning and gardening
